The Lynnwood Light Rail Grand Opening Celebration is Friday, August 30th, from 4 pm to 8 pm. This event is open to the public.
We’re expecting over 30,000 visitors!
The Lynnwood Chamber of Commerce & the Snohomish County Transportation Coalition (Snotrac) have partnered with Sound Transit to produce a Grand Opening Celebration.
From 4 pm to 8 pm on August 30th, the Celebration commences with the following simultaneous events. We have created opportunities to showcase your business / business logo at any or all of these 5 locations;
- MAIN STAGE – Live Bands & Performance
- ARTS & CULTURE PAVILION (Produced by the Asian Service Center) – World Music & Dance
- FUTURE OF LYNNWOOD PAVILION - The New Downtown Lynnwood & District Plans & Artist Renderings
- FAMILY FUN ZONE (Produced by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County) – Bouncy House, Video Games, Corn Hole, Giant Jenga, Face Painting & More!
- NIGHT MARKET – Craft & Farmers Market
- COMMUNITY RESOURCE FAIR – City/County Agencies & Nonprofit Services
In addition, the Celebration will include Food Trucks, a Community Service vendor booth section, and a Lynnwood Business vendor booth section.
ALL of the following SPONSOR OPPORTUNITIES include a 10’ x 10’ booth space. Vendors will be required to bring their own tent / awning / table covering / etc..

We're expecting over 30,000 visitors for this unprecedented event, and are planning some exceptional programs to welcome them! The Lynnwood Chamber of Commerce will have a limited number of Vendor Booth spaces available for the August 30th Lynnwood Light Rail Station Grand Opening Celebration from 4 pm to 8pm. These may be reserved on a first-come basis.
